Mr. Puneet Dalmia is the Managing Director of Dalmia Bharat Limited. He has been the driving force behind the company’s exponential growth since he took over the reins in 2004 and continues to spearhead Dalmia Bharat’s transformation journey through his vision of nation-building.

Driven by the core philosophy of ‘responsible growth and sustainable development,’ he has led Dalmia Bharat on a path of accelerated growth. Prior to leading Dalmia Bharat, he co-founded JobsAhead.com in 1999, one of the most successful dotcom businesses, which was sold to Monster.com in 2004.

Mr. Dalmia continues to be recognized for his proven leadership and entrepreneurial capabilities. He received Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2017 in the manufacturing category and was recently conferred with Best CEO award by Business Today. He is also the Chairman of the Development Council for Cement Industry (DCCI) set up by the Government of India in June 2021.

Mr. Dalmia firmly believes that good business must be a force for good in society. He serves as a Founder and Trustee of Ashoka University and is also a board member of the Central Square Foundation (CSF).

He is a gold-medallist MBA from IIM-Bangalore and holds a B. Tech degree from IIT-Delhi.
