Mr Singhi At Decarb Connect Digital Festival

Mr Mahendra Singhi, MD & CEO, Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited (DCBL) was invited to present the keynote address at the Decarb Connect Digital Festival, on Wednesday, 27th January, 2021.

In his address on ‘Creating a net-zero decarbonisation mindset in heavy-industry sector’, Mr Singhi highlighted the need for heavy-industry sectors to act immediately towards a more affordable and sustainable future by ensuring net-zero commitment.

Mr Singhi elaborated about the need to use renewable energy, bio energy from sustainable bio mass, green fuels and electric mobility, along with complete neutralisation of process emissions via Carbon Capture and Utilisation. He also spoke about DCBL’s commitment to become carbon negative by 2040, further cementing a firm resolve towards proactive actions on climate change.
