Dalmiapuram, January 30, 2026: Dalmia Bharat Foundation (DBF), the corporate social responsibility (CSR) arm of Dalmia Bharat Ltd, inaugurated a skill training programme supported by NABARD at its DIKSHa centre in Dalmiapuram, reaffirming its commitment to enhancing employability and promoting sustainable livelihoods among rural youth. As part of the initiative, the first batch of the General Duty Assistant course commenced with 30 candidates enrolled. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Mr. Bobby Pravin, General Manager, Dalmia Bharat, who attended as the Chief Guest. During the event, training kits were distributed to all participants to support their learning journey and facilitate effective skill acquisition. Under this initiative, skill training will be provided to a total of 150 youths, with the objective of enhancing employability and creating improved livelihood opportunities.
Also, under its Gram Parivartan programme, DBF strengthened rural livelihoods in core villages by supporting 120 beneficiaries with ₹5.6 lakh in financial assistance for goat rearing, enabling sustainable income through livestock-based livelihoods. Additionally, five beneficiaries received ₹10,000 each to promote dairy-based livelihoods.
