Dalmia Bharat Foundation Supports District Level School Athletics Meet in Cuttack

Encouraging Grassroots Sports Development Among School Students in Cuttack District

Cuttack, November 10, 2025: Dalmia Bharat Foundation (DBF), the corporate social responsibility (CSR) arm of Dalmia Bharat Ltd extended its support to the District Level School Athletics Meet (U–14 & U–17 for Boys & Girls) 2025–26, held at Utkalmani Bidyapitha, Safa, Tangi, Choudwar, Cuttack. The initiative reflects DBF’s continued commitment to fostering youth development and promoting sports as a tool for holistic education and empowerment. The occasion was graced by Mrs. Soudamini Das, District Physical Education Officer (DPEO), who commended the efforts of the participants and lauded Dalmia Bharat Foundation for its valuable contribution to promoting sports at the grassroots level. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 14 blocks of Cuttack district, bringing together 356 students, 56 teaching staff, and 89 local block officials.

Commenting on the initiative, Mr. Pankaj Gupta, Unit Head, KCW, Dalmia Cement said, “Dalmia Bharat remains committed to nurturing young talent while promoting inclusive growth in the regions we serve. We are delighted to be part of an initiative that encourages young students to explore their potential through sports.”
