Dalmia Bharat Foundation Organizes Health Camp Benefiting Over 500 Community Members in Belgaum

Belgaum, June 23, 2026: Reinforcing its commitment to community health and well-being, Dalmia Bharat Foundation (DBF), the CSR arm of Dalmia Bharat Ltd., one of India’s leading cement companies, organized a free General Health Camp at Yadwad village for communities surrounding it’s Belgaum unit. More than 500 individuals benefitted from the initiative, receiving free health consultations, medical examinations, and medicines. The initiative was conducted in collaboration with J.G. Co. Hospital, Ghataprabha, and the Primary Health Centre, Yadwad.

The health camp aimed to improve healthcare accessibility for rural communities and encourage early diagnosis and treatment of common health conditions. The event was attended by Shri. Sharad Hurakat, HR head. It witnessed enthusiastic participation from residents of Yadwad and neighboring villages, including Kamanakatti, Koppadatti, Gualagonji Koppa, and Girisgar. A team of specialized doctors from J.G. Co. Hospital conducted comprehensive health screenings and consultations, addressing general health concerns and providing guidance on preventive healthcare. Free medicines were also distributed to beneficiaries based on medical prescriptions, ensuring timely access to essential healthcare services.
