Dalmia Cement Celebrates Utkal Divas, Honours Odisha’s Legacy and Strengthens Community Commitment

Rajgangpur, 1 April, 2026: Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited (DCBL), one of India’s leading cement manufacturers, celebrated Utkal Divas at its Rajgangpur unit, honouring Odisha’s rich cultural heritage and reaffirming its deep-rooted connect with the state. The programme began with floral tributes to Utkalamani Pandit Gopabandhu Das, one of the pioneering freedom fighters, social reformer and educationist of Odisha followed by reflections on Odisha’s cultural legacy and the historic movement that led to the state’s formation in 1936. As part of the celebrations, Dalmia Cement also distributed farming equipment to over 200 farmers from the Rajgangpur and Lanjiberna mines region.The event held at Gopabandhu Park, was attended by senior leadership including Mr. Chetan Srivastava, Executive Director & Unit Head, Rajgangpur, along with other officials and community members.
