Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Ltd. recognises young talents from North East at their 8th brand launch anniversary in the region

Guwahati, January 14, 2021: Marking the 8th brand launch anniversary in North East, Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited, a leading Indian cement major and a subsidiary of Dalmia Bharat Limited, celebrated the day with their business partners, employees and various stakeholders today. KeQeping in mind the ongoing pandemic situation, the event was virtually organized this year so as to ensure the safety of all the stakeholders.

As a part of the celebrations, Dalmia Cement organized its Annual Dealer Conference with its key business partners and dealers and recognized and rewarded their efforts and exceptional performance throughout the years. They also discussed at length about the current business scenario and the opportunities to tap for further growth.

Like every year, this year too, the Young Achievers Award (YAA) was presented to some exceptional talents from the region with the youngest achiever being four-year-old Esther Hnamte from Mizoram who made waves in social media with her rendition of the song “Maa Tujhe Salam”.

YAA which was instituted by Dalmia Cement in 2014 has been instrumental in appreciating and highlighting young performers from varied fields like sports, arts, culture, film making, journalism, ecology, environment amongst others. The award aims at promoting the youth of the region, recognizing and felicitating them and project them as role models for other youngsters.

Dalmia Bharat Cement was launched in North East on 12th January 2013. Every year since then this day is celebrated as the brand launch anniversary to strengthen the sense of loyalty with its channel partners, to infuse a sense of pride and bonding with the brand and to associate with the young people of North East and offer them a platform which shall be an inspirational for the youth.
