Dalmia Suvidha FAQs

To provide ease of business with Dalmia Cement, here are the answers to some of the most commonly asked questions related to usage of the Dalmia Suvidha Application:

Orders and Delivery

1. How do I track the progress of an order?

Once your order is shipped, you will receive an SMS notification with the details of the order. You can also track the shipment by clicking on the link provided under the “Track Order” located in the menu of the Suvidha Application.

2. I am unable to track my order after receiving the tracking number. What should I do?

We generate and display the tracking number on the “Track Order” section of the Suvidha app, as soon as our logistics team loads the order from the plant/depot. If you are unable to track your order on Dalmia Suvidha, call your Dalmia Sales Officer for an update on your order shipment.

3. The delivery of my order is delayed. What should I do?

You can track the order through the tracking Id and also you can connect to the Dalmia Sales Officer to get the cause of the delay. On the “Track Order” section on the Suvidha App there is also an option to directly call the truck driver to check the status of your shipment.

4.  I missed the delivery of my order today. What should I do?

In case you missed the delivery, the logistics team will usually try to deliver the next business day. In case you don’t receive an update, please contact the Dalmia Cement sales officer.

5. Will the delivery be tried again if I am not able to collect my order the first time?

Yes. The Logistics team makes sure that the delivery is reattempted on the next working day.

6. What should I do if my order is approved but hasn't been shipped yet?

The logistics Team usually loads and ships orders in the given estimated time. In case there is any delay within the estimated timeline, please contact the Dalmia Sales Officer.

7. My shipment shows delivered but I have not received the order. What should I do?

All orders delivered by us have proof of delivery with signatures by the person who has accepted the order. In fact, you need to share the OTP with the Logistics Team for smooth delivery. In case you haven't received the order, please contact the Dalmia Sales Officer so that we can look into it or raise a dispute from the Suvidha Application.

8. My order has been returned. What should I do?

 In case you missed the delivery, the logistics team usually tries to deliver the next business day


1. What are my payment options?

– We only accept online payments in the form of NEFT/ RTGS or via Internet banking. Individual Dealers are suggested to make payments to the bank account shared by Dalmia Cement for a respective dealer(s).

2. Under what name will my purchase be charged on the Credit Card Statement?

Your purchase will be charged under the respective company name with which you are transacting. Examples include: "Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited", “Dalmia DSP Limited”, “Calcom Cement India Limited”, “Alsthom Industries Limited” & “Murli Industries Limited”.

3. Does Dalmia Cement retain my account or banking details?

Dalmia does not collect or stores your account or banking details. Your transaction is authorized at multiple points, first by the payment gateway and subsequently by VISA/MASTER CARD/ AMERICAN EXPRESS/BANKS directly without any information passing through us.

4. Will I be asked to provide any card information, account information or passwords over the phone or email?

The Dalmia Cement team will never request you to share any of your payment details over email or over phone.

5. Are there any EMI Options available on Dalmia?

 No. We do not have any EMI or cash on delivery options available.

6. What percentage of refund will I get if I have cancelled the order after dispatch?

– If the order is cancelled after the dispatch a cancellation fee of 5% of the order value would be levied.

Order quantity and schedule

1. Can I get partial delivery of orders?

You can create partial delivery of orders if your order size is more than 100 bags. Kindly contact your Dalmia Sales Officer to create partial shipments for your total order quantity.

2.What is the minimum quantity I could order?

 You can order Minimum 10 Bags.

3. Can I change my shipping or billing address after the order is placed?

For confidentiality and legal reasons, the shipping or billing address cannot be changed once an order has been placed. In case you have changed your address between ordering and receiving a product, you may reach to us and we will do our best to help.


1. What is the period in which I can schedule my delivery?

You can schedule the delivery within a span of 60 Days of ordering.

2. Can I schedule my delivery on different dates? 

Yes.  You can schedule your delivery on different dates basis your requirement.

3. Do I have to sign on delivery Slip?

 Yes. You need to sign the delivery Slip and share your details for the same.

4. Do I have to provide any OTP or Proof of order on delivery?

Yes. You need to provide identity proof for the delivery. There is also an option to provide an “ePOD” i.e. electronic POD via Suvidha Application.

5. What should I do if I get a damaged/defective bag? Or Less in Quantity?

Before signing on the delivery slip or providing an “ePOD” confirmation, kindly crosscheck the quantity and quality of the order. In case you receive damaged/defective bags or less in quantity, kindly ask the delivery team to send us 2 images (one of the damaged bags and one of the total bags) as confirmation over WhatsApp or via Suvidha Application.

6. Can I order again if I have returned the product?

 Yes. You can order as many times as you want.

7. Do I have to pay any labour charges for delivery?

 No. The order will be delivered on the ground floor within 50-meter radius of the delivery point.

8. Will the Dalmia Cement team be able to deliver the order on 1st floor?

No. The order will be delivered to the ground floor within 50-meter radius of the delivery point.


1. What is your cancellation policy?

 Kindly inform the Dalmia Sales Officer if you need to cancel your order. The delivery can only be cancelled before the shipment is loaded in the truck at the respective delivery point. No cancellation fee will be levied.

2. How safe is providing personal information like address, contact details etc. to Dalmia?

The personal information is safe with us. We keep your information encrypted on our servers and do not share it with third parties. Your personal information is only used to contact you regarding your order, to deliver the product and send communications that you may have opted to receive.

3. When can I get delivery of damaged bags?

You can schedule the delivery of the damaged bags if needed, or it will be delivered in the next working day.

3. What percentage of refund will I get if I have cancelled the order after dispatch?

If the order is cancelled after the dispatch, a cancellation fee of 5% the order value would be levied.
