Mr. Gautam Dalmia is the Managing Director of Dalmia Bharat Limited and is responsible for providing strategic direction and inputs for the upcoming projects of the company. In the past, he has led diverse strategic initiatives successfully and also spearheaded the ESG for the entire Group, particularly pertaining to the ‘Social’ part of it. He continues to drive forward Dalmia Bharat’s eight-decade-long legacy of conscientious corporate citizenship across the country.

Mr. Gautam Dalmia

Along with the Cement business, he has played an instrumental role in leading the diversification of the Dalmia Bharat Group into the sugar business in 1994 and continues to mentor the brand’s progress in production, productivity, and long-term stakeholder value.

Driven by the sustainability mission of the Group, he is personally responsible for implementing the new Green Growth strategy across businesses and which has propelled Dalmia Bharat’s brand recognition as one of India’s fastest growing success stories.

He holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from Columbia University.
